The Fat Blasting Bootcamp Review


I've been reading Angie Schumacher's blog fatburningtips4women for a few months now and have really been enjoying it. When Angie recently asked me if I'd be interested in reviewing her ebook Fat Blasting Bootcamp I jumped at the chance. As a personal trainer and nutrition consultant myself, I have a lot of respect for Angie. Her advice is always knowledgeable, healthy, safe, realistic and success oriented.

The Fat Blasting Bootcamp program is an easy to follow, down to earth fat loss plan consisting of a meal component as well as a progressive exercise plan.

The meal plans offer suggestions on how to create healthy, nutritious meals based on portion size as opposed to counting calories. The program focuses on planning meals that incorporate all of the food groups including complete proteins, complex carbs, lots of green veggies and small amounts of heart healthy fats. The meal suggestions are nutrient dense, while portion sizes are conducive to weight loss.

Angie also emphasizes the importance of preparation and planning in order to achieve success and offers tips on how to log and keep track of the progress being made. This is something I always try to stress with my clients as well so I really like the fact that she added this in the Fat Blasting Bootcamp program. We can never be over prepared!

Of course exercise is a crucial component of any weight loss program and the workouts offered in this book are designed to optimize fat burning potential in a short period of time. Very little equipment is required for the workouts so they can be done at home or when traveling which makes things very convenient.

Three different, circuit structured workouts are suggested per week consisting of whole body strength training and fat blasting cardio combined. Each session is approximately 30 minutes so the time commitment is minimal but the fat burn is maximal! The exercise program is progressive, with the difficulty increasing over a 14 week period and all the workouts can be modified to increase or decrease intensity, making it a great program for those that are just beginning and those that are advanced!

The Fat Blasting Bootcamp program is a very realistic approach to healthy fat loss along with an increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance. You'll enjoy real, wholesome food without being deprived and the workouts will leave you feeling energized, while toning up all those less than perfect areas!
